In order to achieve and maintain compliance with the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons, Members must meet various reporting requirements.
They must complete an initial compliance process that begins soon after they are appointed or soon after they are reappointed when there is an interruption between the appointment and reappointment. They also face a number of ongoing reporting requirements throughout their terms of office.
