Political Activities: Rules for public office holders

​​​​​​​​​The Conflict of Interest Act’s prohibition on outside activities for reporting public office holders​ does not restrict their political activities.

However, there are some considerations that certain reporting public office holders should keep in mind when a federal election is underway:
