Who is subject to t​he Conflict of Interest Act?

Public office holders (POH)

  • ​Part-time members of federal boards, commissions and tribunal, as well as some part-time ministerial staff.

Reporting public office holder​s (RPOH)

  • ​Ministers, parliamentary secretaries, ministerial staff.
  • Full-time Governor-in-Council appointees such as deputy ministers, heads of Crown corporations and members of federal boards.
