Accordingly, I have agreed to recuse myself from any discussion, decision, debate or vote in relation to my brother, Intelcom Courrier Canada Inc., Dragonfly Shipping, or Amazon. I understand that recusal means I must remove myself from the room, physically or virtually as the case may be. I also agree not to have any communication with government officials in relation to any matter or decision-making processes which I or the screen administrators know or reasonably should know to affect my brother’s private interests.
This screen is co-administered by the Deputy Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and my Chief of Staff to ensure that I am neither made aware of nor a participant in any discussions or decision-making processes pertaining to the private interests of my brother or of his companies, unless the interest in the decision or matter is one of general application.
