MARIO DION IS APPOINTED THE SECOND CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND ETHICS COMMISSIONER. HE RETIRES ON FEBRUARY 21, 2023. 

PRIME MINISTER JUSTIN TRUDEAU IS THE SUBJECT OF TWO MORE EXAMINATION REPORTS RELEASED BY THE OFFICE. A PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE STUDIES THE EVENTS SURROUNDING THE MATTER INVESTIGATED IN ONE OF THOSE REPORTS.​

The House of Commons adopts the 11th Report (Review of the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons: Part 1) of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, which was tabled in the House on June 21, 2022. Among the 13 recommendations, mandatory training for Members, including educational scenarios, is required within the first 120 days after their confirmation of election.
